Drop a .las, .laz, .e57 or .ply point cloud below... LiDAR scans, photogrammetry, survey data. It renders right here, and nothing is uploaded. The file is read and drawn on your own machine.
Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom, and use the slider to change the point size... smaller for dense scans, bigger for sparse ones. Colour is used when the file has it.
Which formats can it open?
.las and .laz (LAS 1.0–1.4, point formats 0–10, compressed or not), .e57 (multi-scan, with pose and colour) and .ply point clouds, ASCII or binary. Colour is used wherever the file carries it.
What about really big scans?
Very large clouds get sampled down so they stay smooth to spin around. The status line tells you when that has happened, so you're never guessing whether you're looking at all of it.
Does anything get uploaded?
No. LAZ decompression and all the parsing happen in your own browser, so survey data never leaves your machine.
On a Mac
The Point Cloud Viewer app adds Quick Look: press Space on a scan in the Finder to preview it, and it reads PTS, PCD and XYZ too.
